In Jungle Crocodile Safari, we strongly believe in the importance of protecting the most iconic creatures on our planet. These prehistoric beings have existed for millions of years, adapting to various conditions and inhabiting diverse environments such as rivers, lakes, and mangroves. As apex predators, they play a crucial role in ecosystems by digging holes that fill with water, providing vital shelters for other animals during dry seasons.
Katiegrrl2024-08-14 Fascinating and Fun Tour I had always wanted to do a crocodile tour but I’m handicapped and need help getting around.. Jungle Crocodiles Tours was extremely gracious and accommodating and provided a wheelchair to the boat. Our tour guide, Gustavo was a joy. We were amazed at his ability to spot birds and identify them on our bird guide. We learned a lot and saw a variety of birds including Red McCaws.Best of all we saw a mother crocodile and her babies. Gustavo was outstanding at finding crocodiles and they slowed the boat snd steered so we were able to get great photos. The passion of 5he staff was infectious and I highly recommend this tour. jlove08012024-07-19 10/10 would recommend 10/10 would do it again! It was a fun experience, the big crocodiles come up really close to the boats. The guide, Gustavo was very knowledgeable on the birds and local crocodiles. alrutt2024-07-12 Way better than we expected! Amazing tour. Absolutely better than advertised! Our guide Hansel was super knowledgeable and we saw at least four crocodiles as well as numerous cool birds. But what stood out was the extraordinary scenery. It was unique and stunning. We’re so glad we took this tour! Filip M2024-05-24 Lots of wildlife! One of the best tours we had during our stay in Costa Rica. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We saw many birds, some of them we only saw on this particular trip during our 3 weeks holiday. Of course we some impressive crocodiles too. We even saw a mother crocodile with her tiny babies. Lee L2024-05-16 Crocs Crocs and more Crocs We stopped here on our way back to San Jose on our Caravan tour. We had a okay pretty typical Costa Rican lunch and then went on the boat tour. It was great. Saw lots of different birds and a ton of crocs. Didn't see any monkeys but did see them on my other river cruise where we only got a fleeting view of a crocs. Nice guide and boat driver well worth it. Craig S2024-04-24 Crocodile rivers tour Great guide, so knowledgeable. Pointed out so much wildlife we would have missed. We saw lots of beautiful birds and came close to big crocodiles! Maria2024-04-02 Amazing, a must do in the area! Brilliant. The guides were really knowledgeable and we got to see loads of crocodiles and a great variety of birds. The free brochure was really good to refer to and to keep as a souvenir. Totally recommend. mbrodockrnfa2024-03-09 Our experience with Jungle Crocodile and Birds Punctual, easy access to boat, beverages available for free at gift shop, plenty of baños, knowledgeable guides, many species of birds identified at low tide, many crocs seen. Luv2TravelFarNWide2024-02-19 Booked a private tour Booked a private tour for the 4 of us (only $15 more per person than a group tour) and got to leave early (7:30 am) before other tours started. It was perfect. The birds are out early, the crocodiles were out on the banks in the sun to get warm. Our guide Juan Carlos was super. Great at spotting and great at explaining. The boats are covered, so sun is not an issue. Having the whole boat to ourselves meant we could move around in the seats to get better views and photos. A perfect tour! And we thoroughly enjoyed the large gift shop when we got back.
