All our tours are carried out on boats with 4-stroke outboard motors, fully equipped with safety materials and devices. Each boat is operated by an experienced captain and accompanied by one or more bilingual tour guides, who will help you discover and learn about the flora and fauna of the tour.

Jungle Crocodile Safari was created in April 1993 by Veterinary Doctor Mario Fernando Orjuela Castro, specializing in non-traditional species such as boas, iguanas, crocodiles, among others and an honorary member of the IUCN Crocodile Specialist Group.
The first time I went to the Rio Grande Tarcoles, it was an April sunset of 1993. I immediately noticed the richness of the avifauna and the largest crocodile population had seen in the American continent. I was surprised that this place was still unknown, and understanding the scientific world.
While undertaker survey expeditions and night incursions, I began thinking of a way to show this hidden treasure to visitors, to let them know in an educative way about the fascinating creatures and the ecosystems of this tropical paradise. And so, the Jungle Crocodile Safari was born!
By exposing this unique natural wonder through our unforgettable tour, we have been able to call national and international attention to our cause and to transmit this very important message: Unless we learn how to conserve and sustain these delicate natural balance which has taken millions of years o evolve, the results could be disastrous and irreversible.
