In Costa Rica, Wildlife Conservation Law No. 7317 prohibits feeding wildlife.

In Jungle Crocodile Safari, we strongly believe in the importance of protecting the most iconic creatures on our planet. These prehistoric beings have existed for millions of years, adapting to various conditions and inhabiting diverse environments such as rivers, lakes, and mangroves. As apex predators, they play a crucial role in ecosystems by digging holes that fill with water, providing vital shelters for other animals during dry seasons.

Book the tour! This trip was amazing. Our guide was i formative and comical. He found lots of crocodiles and birds. The driver of the boat pulled close enough that we could’ve reached out and touched them (of course you can’t). He gave her stories about many of the crocodiles we saw. We paid extra for transportation and the driver was on time.Publicado en Tripadvisor Christopher MVerificada Natural wonders Magnificent tour of river, including close encounters with crocodiles and many, many birds species. Excellent guide.Publicado en Tripadvisor Chris SVerificada Corcs Well worth it !!! Had a blast ☺️Publicado en Tripadvisor Nico GVerificada A great tour I saw more animals during this tour than during a walk in the jungle, all while being seated. The guide was helpful and funny, it's priced well.Publicado en Tripadvisor Tom7128Verificada Great tour. Accommodating staff. Many birds and huge crocodiles to be seen. First I want to thank the staff for being very accommodating to my wife and I. We drove from La Fortuna, expecting a drive of 3.5 hours. We allowed for an extra hour but the drive actually took over 5 hours due to many delays on the road. Obviously, we missed our appointed tour time and couldn’t wait around for the next one. The manager on duty that day worked it out for us to go on a “shorter” tour right away and we were able to go out with just a tour guide (Jari??) and boat driver (Stephen) and the two of us. It was great. We saw many varieties of birds and a bunch of crocs, including two of the three largest males on that section of the Tarcoles river. The males are huge! We did not go as far as the Tarcoles bridge, but we were able to go all the way to the mouth of the Tarcoles, as well as a mangrove cove. We saw a group of spoonbills in that area. We would highly recommend this tour.Publicado en Tripadvisor simon nVerificada Steven was excellent at pointing out the birds we saw and the crocodiles. Very professional and value for money. Steven was excellent at pointing out the birds we saw and the crocodiles. Very professional and value for money.Publicado en Tripadvisor Mike EVerificada Interesting. Lots of animals and birds. A great boat ride with an accompanying pamphlet of many bird species that served as a handy reference. The captain did a great job navigating shallow waters and bringing us along side several large crocodiles. We saw many birds fairly close. Our tour group also had lunch there which was very good. Plenty of bathrooms and a large gift shop.
